ArcLearn pricing is based upon actual usage.
Initial costs are low and monthly charges are determined by student activity.
Access License Pricing
An "Access License" enables all participants at your organization to use a given program in the available style - that is, linear DVD-style or interactive e-learning style. The license can consist of one or more programs and always has a specific term, such as 24 months.
Access Licenses can be configured in two ways: as a single program license or as a License Pack. Any program in the catalog may be viewed under a single-program access license.
A License Pack is the ultimate in flexibility as you can customize the pack contents to meet your changing needs on a bi-monthly basis. You select the initial program titles in the Pack. You decide which programs should be swapped out and replaced with fresh ones every 60 days.
Additional discounts are available thru pre-paid Utilization Packs. When purchased in advance, Utilzation Pack credits can be automatically applied against the monthly utilization charges that are incurred as courses are delivered to your student participants; thus elminating the need to handle more paperwork. In all cases, your site administrator will received (via e-mail) monthly statements summarizing utilization activity, per-access charges and net Access Pack balances.
Classroom Usage
DVD style versions of all programs can be used in the classroom by a trainer or by a consultant. Access licenses are required and utilization charges apply. In all such cases, the classroom use must be reported with the number of attendees and programs used. Utilization billing will occur.
Authoring Privileges Pricing
Authoring privileges are available for trainers who wish to present full DVD-style programs and/or selected chapters of DVD programs in a group training environment. ArcLearn will provide the trainer with links to the course videos that can be integrated into PowerPoint, Blackboard or other delivery technologies.
Additionally, offline course-delivery without Internet access is supported for mobile presentations to groups of students.
A single, 12-month, Authoring Privilege license is priced at $195 and applies to ALL concurrently licensed courses and to ALL trainers within the organization. An Authoring Privilege license is required in order to selectively access individual chapters from any DVD-style course.
Local Access Option Pricing
On-demand delivery over the Internet is not the only delivery method ArcLearn supports. The course library is also available on an external hard drive which can be connected to the local area network or to a laptop in support of a roaming trainer. Accessing course content locally has the advantages of higher quality video and reduced Internet traffic. It is especially useful at locations where broadband Internet service is limited or unavailalbe. Also, some organizations discourage online video by imposing firewall rules and other policies. One copy of the course library on Local Disk is price at $395.
